Fr. Peter Wadzani, CSSp, currently serving in the Philippines, is joyfully receiving laypeople—predominantly youths—into the Spiritan family as associates. These vibrant young individuals have found meaning in embracing the Spiritan charism and mission. They are people with immense potential, searching for direction and authenticity in a rapidly changing world.

The Spiritan Rule of Life (SRL 14.5) emphasizes: “We consider work among the youth to be a privileged field of evangelization. We strive to walk with them, helping them to discover their vocation in the Church and in the world.” Inspired by this, Spiritans across the globe are actively engaging youths who are increasingly showing interest in the Spiritan way of life.

As a forward-looking generation, the youth remain the hope and future of the Church. The world today urgently needs morally upright and faith-filled young people to counter the growing decline in values and integrity. Through their actions, they can witness to the Gospel and inspire transformation in society.

Forming Spiritan youth networks not only fosters self-expression and leadership but also cultivates a strong sense of identity and spiritual fulfillment. The world needs God now more than ever—and youths are the best drivers of this much-needed spiritual and moral revival.

Joining the Spiritan youth ministry offers young people the opportunity to explore a world of possibilities, live a purposeful life, and become agents of hope, faith, and change in today’s broken world.
