PREMIER EDITION OF TREASURES UNVEILED, 2021
By MC Elizabeth Ojiabor.
In line with God in his characteristic nature of creation, Spiritans Sound Outreach thereby, encourages the development of skills. It’s not out of place to say that God created everyone with unique abilities meant for the service of humanity. At times, most individuals are not outrightly aware of the talents they possess not until they run into a vast array of difficulties in life. “That your special talent is God’s gift to you. What you do with it, is your gift back to God” – Leo Buscaglia
St. Paul in Ephesians 4:12 says, “Christ gave these gifts to prepare God’s holy people for the work of serving, to make the body of Christ stronger.” If that be the case, why are these gifts, talents and abilities hidden or not put to proper use? It was on this premise and more that the “TREASURES UNVEILED 2021” was birthed with the main purpose of discovering talents and showcasing them to the entire world under the auspices of
SPIRITANS SOUND OUTREACH.
The Treasures Unveiled, 2021 had its maiden edition on the 17th of July, 2021 at Ultimate Hall, lyana Isashi, along Lagos-Badagry Expressway, Lagos, Nigeria. To the glory of the almighty God, the event had a blissful ending and thus, the guests left with joy in their hearts while anticipating a sequel edition.
SPIRITANS SOUND DRAMA
Drama is one of the group’s media of enlightening the society. This is done to achieve two objectives: preaching morals and the exposition of drama acts. At the premier of Treasures Unveiled of 2021, the outreach’s drama team performed the drama titled, “The Price” This ministry shall be given a prominent position as time goes on.
PUBLICATIONS
Focusing on the goal to encourage writing, having a publication has thus become one of the organisation’s priorities. Under the tutelage of Spiritans Sound Publications, four books written by Fr. Oluwafemi Victor Orilua, CSSp have been produced in print, inclusive of “The Passover”; “Arrested for Service: The conversion of St Paul”(a drama, which was acted by the Missionary Childhood Association of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Ketu Ijanikin, Lagos, Nigeria); “Make Hay” (already on Amazon) and “My Daily Conversation with
Jesus”. “My Daily Conversation with Jesus” is a prayer booklet for children. It was published and distributed for free to children. About 9000 copies have been shared already.
However, the publication of “Treasures Unveiler” is meant to launch the organisation into book publication proper. After this publication, it shall begin its publishing work in earnest commencing with two manuscripts from a couple of the group’s members; some of the books are “The Christians that we are” and “Five Christian Pathways to Success”;”Living the Christian Way”, written by Mr. Martin Eichie and Vivian Ohaeri respectively.
